Price Hill Civic Club opposes Red Light cameras

At the June 10, 2008 meeting of the Price Hill Civic Club a vote to oppose the establishment of Red Light cameras was taken.  The vote passed by an overwhelming majority to oppose the City of Cincinnati’s attempt to establish such devices in our community.  As discussed during the meeting these cameras have not proven to be effective in limiting accidents.  But they have proven to be a money grab by both governmental jurisdictions as well as the companies that own and operate the cameras.  We encourage other neighborhoods to say NO to Red Light cameras!
